How to Use Google Forms for Automated Grading

1. Go to forms.google.com.
2. Click "+" for new form.
3. Add title and description.
4. Click Settings (gear icon).
5. Under "Quizzes", toggle "Make this a quiz".
6. Set:
- Release grade: Immediately or later
- Show missed/correct answers
7. Add questions:
- Multiple choice (auto-graded)
- Checkboxes (auto-graded)
- Dropdown (auto-graded)
- Short answer (can assign points manually)
8. For each question, click "Answer key":
- Select correct answer
- Set point value
9. Click "Send" to share with students.
10. View responses: Responses tab → Summary or Individual.
11. Export to Google Sheets for analysis.
