DepEd Google Meet – Breakout Rooms for Group Activities

Note: Breakout rooms require Google Workspace for Education Plus (check if your division has this).
How to create:
1. Start a Google Meet.
2. Click Activities (bottom right).
3. Select "Breakout rooms".
4. Choose number of rooms (2-100).
5. Assign students:
- Automatically (random)
- Manually (drag names)
6. Set time limit (optional).
7. Click "Open rooms".
8. Students join automatically.
9. Visit rooms to check progress.
10. Close rooms to bring everyone back.
Students: You'll see a notification to join your room.
