Securing Your DepEd Account – Two-Factor Authentication

1. Go to myaccount.google.com.
2. Sign in with DepEd email.
3. Click "Security" on left menu.
4. Under "How you sign in to Google", select "2-Step Verification".
5. Click "Get Started".
6. Choose method:
- Google prompts (recommended)
- Authenticator app (Google Authenticator)
- Phone number (SMS or call)
7. Follow on-screen instructions.
8. Save backup codes (download or print).
Note: After enabling, you'll need:
- Password + phone prompt
- OR password + 6-digit code from authenticator app
